The Manth family of Buffalo are determined to raise funds to find a cure for NF2. Leah Manth has NF2 and the Manth's entire community has rallied behind them to help raise funds for research. One of their largest fund raising events is the Buffalo Marathon where hundreds of runners, walkers and volunteers show up in their green shirts to help.

Lori Ryan is Chairperson of the annual "Steps 2 Cure NF" and the event is held at Horn Pond in Woburn, MA. Steps 2 Cure NF is a 4 mile run and a 2 mile health walk and is a great opportunity for members of the NF Community to come together and to help raise funds for NF research. Derek Brown has set a lofty goal..to run a marathon in every state in the US. Derek is doing this because his brother Austin has NF1 and this is a way to increase awareness and raise funds for research.
