Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield was the new location of Steps2Cure NF. Almost 250 people participated in the walk or road race, and it was a great opportunity to meet other members of the NF Community.

Naomi Dias and her fellow members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, along with NF families, made a great showing at the Steps2Cure NF Walk at the Simon Mall in Manchester NH. Participants also enjoyed donning Beauty Mark Nation tattoos!

Steps2Cure NF took place at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis, MA on Sunday April 10th. Naomi Higgins Dias planned a great event and offered a wonderful opportunity for NF patients, families and friends to come out to support NF and create awareness. The gathering was both a social and financial success and proceeds will benefit the scientific and clinical research programs of NF, Northeast. Enjoy photos here.

Lori Ryan is Chairperson of the annual "Steps2Cure NF". The event was previously held at Horn Pond in Woburn, MA, and to accommodate it's growth, Steps2Cure NF moved to Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. Steps2Cure NF is a 3 mile run and a 3 mile health walk and is a great opportunity for members of the NF Community to come together and to help raise funds for NF research.
